The Pusha is a T-shirt with the basic IGWT fit. For the In Gold We Trust Organic line, we wanted to create a line that could amount to the future. The In Gold We Trust Basic is becoming a recognizable and widely worn product, and we are therefore responsible for responsible production.
The origin of the substance, the route it takes, and the impact it has on nature are all things that are important for the future of this planet.
For the In Gold We Trust basic, we looked at how we can make our Hoodie, T-shirt, and Sweater the most popular items in our collection. A company issues a quality mark that confirms that your product belongs to a responsible way of producing. One of the certificates that a product can have is the GOTS certificate, an international characteristic that you can give a product.
The GOTS label is an international organic textile label, established in 2002. The GOTS label guarantees that production takes place in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner.
Furthermore, there are quality requirements for the products. The label is anchored in European legislation. It is managed by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), an international organization composed of four members who previously each had a separate organic textile label.
The label indicates that the textile fibres come from organic agriculture. No harmful or carcinogenic substances may be used in the production of the clothing. Besides, GOTS imposes an obligation to draw up a sustainability plan with attention to water and energy consumption and waste management.
For example, it considers the maximum emission standards for water in textile production. There are restrictive criteria for water purification. Here are some more facts about organic cotton to help you think. It is made with 88% less water and 62% less energy.
In 2025 there will be a shortage of clean water on the earth, and organic cotton will be made for 80% with rainwater, which will counteract that too shortly. Working conditions are improved when growing organic cotton just because of the use of fewer chemicals. Because of all these facts, we have chosen to make our collection accountable step by step to contributing to the environment. Every season we will add a category group to this program so that eventually we will produce our clothing fully sustainable.
